the   video   poetry   club  originated in a class taught at East Tennessee State University that was named oh well yes you guessed it "Video Poetry" 

​we turned poems into videos and videos into poems and embarked on a hive mind creative storm

​we all went to dinner after our finals week final project final viewing and solidified a collective desire to make collective art

​10 months later, three classmates, now graduated received a group email from a man now going by the name MAURICE HAT

​he asked if we wanted to work together on a screenplay he had written, script attached...

​we said Yes​, we got a crew together, etc., etc. and it happened.

​Natasha at the Party was born

​and so was ​the video poetry club as we know it

2 years later, 4 films older, we are still video poetry clubbing
